Art Hill Picnic - A Forest Park Date for Two
A zero-hassle date on the most iconic lawn in St. Louis. Three courses from four acclaimed local kitchens — packed and waiting.
Art Hill is one of the most iconic spots in Forest Park — a sweeping green lawn beneath the St. Louis Art Museum, with the Grand Basin stretched out below. It's where St. Louis comes to breathe.
We do the planning. You do the picnicking. At pickup we hand you a fully stocked basket — three courses sourced from four acclaimed CWE and Grove restaurants, including a pint of ice cream chilled in a quadruple-insulated tumbler. It'll still be frozen when you're ready for it. (Or eat it first. We won't tell your mom.) Cups, cutlery, corkscrew, chilled water, and a waterproof blanket — all in the basket. Pick out the perfect patch of grass and settle in.
Whether it's a date, a long-overdue catch-up, or treating someone you love to something nice, Art Hill in the middle of the day is one of those experiences guests tell us they end up remembering.
Every booking includes a $5 donation to Forest Park Forever — because the park deserves to stay this beautiful.
About dietary needs: we try to curate our menus to have something in the basket for everyone, but cannot accommodate specific dietary requests or allergen concerns at this time.
Grab the basket. Pick the spot. We've handled the rest.
